Как удалить Гугл Хром

Для удаления Гугл Хром с компьютера полностью существует два способа: с помощью ресурсов Windows – это панель управления, AppData и системный реестр, второй способ – через деинсталлятор.

Вы можете удалить браузер с компьютера с ОС Windows, Mac или Linux и с устройства iOS.

На Windows

Для начала закройте все окна и вкладки Chrome. Затем нажмите кнопку Пуск в Меню. Дальше в Параметры или Панель управления (в зависимости от версии). Выберите приложение – удалить программу или программы и компоненты. Выберите Удалить. Подтвердите действие – Удалить.

На MAC OS

На панели Dock – нажмите значок Chrome правой кнопкой мыши. Затем выбираете – Выйти и открываете – Finder. Открываете папку, в которой установлен Хром. Google Chrome может находиться в папке “Программы”. Если – нет, нажмите Файл –> Найти и выполните поиск. Потом перетащите значок Google Chrome в корзину.

На Android

На большинстве устройств Android браузер Chrome предустановлен – удалить его нельзя. Можно удалить лишь обновления. Если вы не планируете работать в Chrome – установите другой браузер и пользуйтесь им.

На iOS

Чтобы удалить Chrome и данные профиля, закладки и историю нажмите – Удалить. Удаленные данные профиля больше не будут доступны на вашем устройстве iOS. Если вы войдете в аккаунт Chrome и выполните синхронизацию данных, часть информации по-прежнему может находиться на серверах Google.

Google Chrome for Windows 8 and Windows 8.1

How to download Google Chrome for Windows 10

1. Click this link Chrome Downloads to be taken to the download page.
2. You will see the install Chrome webpage open in a new tab.
3. Click the DOWNLOAD CHROME button as shown in the below image

1. You will need to accept the Terms of Service to continue with the download, click ACCEPT AND INSTALL

1. This will start the download of the file.
2. Depending which current browser you are using you may need to click RUN or Save and then double-click the file.
3. Windows might prompt you to confirm you want to install click yes.
4. Chrome will install and the Chrome browser window will open

Google Chrome Slow on Windows 10

Here are some troubleshooting steps that you can try when Chrome starts working slow and loading pages slowly. I have collected a bunch of fixes here. Try them out, I am sure one of these will work for you.

This guide is organized into operating system specific steps for Windows, Linux, OS X, and Chrome OS. Try steps listed in the “All operating systems” section first before trying OS-specific steps.

All Operating Systems

1. Try the incognito window ( CTRL + SHIFT + N ). This launches Chrome without any extensions if you haven’t enabled them on incognito mode). If Google Chrome is working better in this mode, the culprit is extensions. Try disabling them one by one and find out which one is the troublemaker.
2. Go to Chrome Settings > Advanced Settings > Privacy and uncheck “Predict network actions to improve page load performance“. This seems to be helping in some cases. Give it a try.
3. Try clearing browser data, history, cache, etc from settings.
4. Search for “Reset browser”. This will reset the Chrome profile to default settings.
5. From chrome://flags, try resetting all flags to default.

Windows

1. Open up the task manager (Ctrl + Shift + Esc).  Click the processes tab and look for something that looks like Browser Manager.  If you have it, try googling for directions on how to remove it.  Restart your computer after the uninstall. This should fix the issue for you.
2. In a similar way, look for a program called BrowserProtect. Remove it, restart your computer and try again.

Windows 8 and Windows 8.1

1. If you are using Chrome on Metro Mode, try relaunching it in desktop mode (Setting > Relaunch Chrome in Desktop Mode)
2. Window 8.1: Right-click on Chrome and choose properties. Next click on the tab that says compatibility. Check the checkbox that says Run this program in compatibility mode and choose Windows 8.

Google Chrome Slow to Start

If Google Chrome is slow on startup, here is something that you can try:

1. Try disabling all the extensions, see if Chrome loads faster
2. If you are opening Chrome with many tabs on the launch, reduce them
3. Try (temporarily) disabling your antivirus software and if it is showing any improvement.
4. Check your list of software installed on the PC. If you find any suspicious software, (Babylon, etc) uninstall and restart your computer.

Delete “User Data”

This is a bit tricky, but user jim38 on Google Help Forum has a solution that might help you. Be sure to take a backup of your bookmarks as explained here.

1. Choose Bookmarks/Bookmark Manager/Organize. 2. Export your bookmarks to an HTML file — somewhere you can find it. 3. Close Chrome. 4. Go to C:\Documents and Settings\\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Chrome\User Data (fill in your computer username) 5. Right-click on the User Data folder and rename it. I just add an X to the end of the name. 6. Restart Chrome, go to the Bookmark Manager and import the bookmarks.

Google Chrome on Windows 10 – Download

It is just the same Google Chrome browser that you download from google.com/chrome. The download and install went pretty smooth. I use Chromesync, so getting everything back, including my extensions and passwords was easy, and smooth.

When you start downloading, Google first gives you a small file, which starts downloading the complete installer. A sort of download manager. Once the download is complete, you can double-click the file to start your installation.

A brief history of Google Chrome

For a long time, Microsoft’s Internet Explorer had dominated the browser market. The only real competition being Mozilla’s Firefox. So there was an understandable excitement in 2008 when the world’s favorite search engine announced it was releasing a web browser. 

Chrome downloads were very popular even in its initial stages due to its simple and clean approach. But Google went one step further and made their new Chrome browser faster and more stable than other browsers.

They did this by introducing a multi-process architecture. Which meant that each browser tab loaded independently of the other tabs.  This might not seem like a big deal but in 2008 internet browsers would often crash and need to be shut down.

This switch in technology meant a single tab could crash and the rest of the browser carried on as normal. This was a big leap forward in browser technology and helped Google Chrome get to where it is today – the worlds most used web browser.
